  Oct 24          First Day of Early Voting 

  Nov 1           Last Day to apply for Ballot by Mail (Rec'd, not postmarked)

  Nov 4           Last Day of Early Voting 

  Nov 8           Election Day 
INFORMATION ON BALLOT BY MAIL-Application can be obtained at www.harrisvotes.org

The period to request a ballot-by-mail for the upcoming election begins Fri. Sept. 9 and runs through Tues. Nov. 1. To qualify to vote by mail a voter must be one of the following: 65 years or older, disabled, out of the county on Election Day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance, or confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
